AVEVA Diagrams is an intelligent design system for P&IDs, HVAC schematics and similar diagrams, based on a unique combination of Microsoft Visio and AVEVA Dabacon technologies. It is very quick and easy to deploy and learn and delivers exceptional integration with AVEVA 3D design products – including shared administration, report generation and data management capabilities.

  • Groups of fittings can be defined and added with a single drag-and-drop operation
  • Powerful, rule-based auto-formatting functions supports effective re-use of existing diagrams on new projects and allows project and client-specific requirements to be met.
  • AVEVA Diagrams can be used both with and without piping specifications, so that diagrams can be created early and final specifications applied later.
  • In specification-driven mode, the correct components are automatically selected as the diagram is created. Any existing out-of-spec items can be rapidly identified and corrected.
  • Automatic exchange of symbols allows a 'generic' symbol to be replaced by a specific one when the catalogue reference is set or changed. Existing symbols can be manually exchanged, retaining connections and attributes.
