Derek Middlemas - New appointment as Group Operations Director, AVEVA
8 December 2008AVEVA (LSE: AVV), the leading supplier of engineering IT systems for the plant and marine industries, today announced that Mr Derek Middlemas has been appointed to the position of Group Operations Director.
Derek joined AVEVA in 2000 and until recently has headed up the Business Strategy Group. As a member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, a Chartered Engineer with a Masters Degree in Project Management, Derek is already a highly respected member of the current executive management team.
In this new role, Derek will be responsible for leading and directing the Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Industry Solutions functions to achieve agreed sales and profit goals.
