Position in - Business Strategy ManagerJob Title: Business Strategy Manager Reports to: VP Latin America Department: Marketing Job Purpose:Co-responsible for strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for AVEVA and its products within the Latin America Region. Ensure that all marketing messages and positioning are consistent on a regional basis, and support regional sales objectives. Dimensions:- One direct report located in Mexico City
Principal Accountabilities:- Create interest, demand and recognition for AVEVA and its products through the use of PR, creative services, advertising, events, and online marketing.
- Develop the messages to communicate the AVEVA value propositions externally and internally tailoring the proposition to the target audiences.
- Manage and execute PR activities to ensure we achieve the proper amount and type of press coverage to raise awareness in our markets of the AVEVA message, contract wins, and customer success stories.
- Create and execute a system to create win reports and customer success stories for use in PR.
- Carry out annual PR audits to analyze our performance compared to competitors and use the results to guide next year's marketing spend.
- Develop relationships with a target group of publications and journalists that are big enough to cover all our markets and continuously supply these contacts with focused personal information giving the AVEVA message.
- Create and manage within the approved budget the annual Marketing Plan ensuring the plan is coordinated with Regional business objectives, and Product Strategy.
- Analyze and identify market trends and opportunities within LatAm.
- Generate and identify prospects and communicate to local sales to develop the opportunity.
- Organize and support road shows, users groups, and other regional initiatives to grow the AVEVA line of business.
- Manage client expectations and maximise global reach through development of case studies communicated within the client organization and in the public domain.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related discipline
- 7-10 years experience in marketing/business development management
- Experience doing market research and intelligence
- Significant marketing experience in a business to business environment including the use of online marketing techniques
- Experience in the Brazilian Oil and Gas/Engineering Industry required
- Experience in Engineering Software preferred
- Adaptable to flexible, growing international business environment
- Event marketing experience
- Strong communication skills in all forms - written, oral, email, presentation
- Able to travel 30-50%
- Bilingual: Portuguese, English
