Presentation Listing Page Authoring Instructions

A Presentation Listing Page needs to be created for each year.

Follow These Instructions to Customize Each Year

Use the content template to create each year's Presentation Listing Page:

  • DO NOT OVERWRITE the content template
  • DO NOT ROLL out the content template to Live Copy (and therefore do not publish it)
  • DO NOT EDIT the content tree in the page body

Copy this content template page in language-masters, and then customize it for each year:

  • https://author-aveva-esec-prod65.adobecqms.net/editor.html/content/aveva/language-masters/en/perspectives/presentations/yyyy.html

"Move" the page to edit "yyyy" in the URL filename to the applicable year.

Below are the additional authoring requirements needed after the page is copied to customize it for each year.

Page Properties Updates Needed

Basic tab

Override YYYY with the applicable year in the following fields:

  • Title
  • Page Title
  • Breadcrumb
  • Description

Add the applicable Year tag for the year:

Add the applicable Event tag(s) for the year:

Advanced tab

  • No action needed

Site Configuration tab

  • No action needed - content template page has correct settings applied

Card Properties tab

  • No action needed

Page Body Authoring Updates Needed

  • Edit the H1 to override YYYY with the correct year
  • Verify the Breadcrumb is showing the correct year
  • Roll out the language-masters pages to Live Copy, and publish it (The page must be published in order for the MediaValet workflow to work end-to-end)

After at least one presentation has synced for the applicable year, go back into the page to do additional authoring in the page body:

  • Edit the Smart Button to add an absolute URL with the dynamic Coveo parameters for prefiltered year's presentations; format will be:

For years 2024 and later

  • https://www.aveva.com/en/perspectives/#f-coveo_year=YYYY&f-coveo_contenttype=Presentation (where YYYY will be the applicable year)

For years 2023 and earlier

  • https://www.aveva.com/en/info/historical-presentations/#f-coveo_year=YYYY (where YYYY will be the applicable year)

Edit the List to add the path to the current year's presentations; format will be:

  • /content/aveva/language-masters/en/perspectives/presentations/yyyy (where yyyy will be the applicable year)

Sitemap Webpage Republishing

Republish the sitemap webpage to add the link the Presentation Listing page to the Perspectives > Presentations section:
