At AVEVA World 2026 in Milan, attendees were introduced to the next phase of CONNECT’s industrial intelligence journey—an evolution that will make it easier for users to manage, find, and apply industrial information wherever and however matters most. These changes focus on enhancing everyday workflows while also introducing new capabilities that help extract even more value from the platform.
The changes begin with preserving context through trusted information that predicts and informs outcomes across the design, build, operate, and optimize phases in the asset lifecycle. This means that each stakeholder in the lifecycle will have an enhanced experience.
- Design engineers can efficiently collaborate across disciplines, geographies, and organizational lines to accelerate project success.
- Data engineers can centrally manage and refine data sets, removing silos and barriers to access.
- Data users can access contextual information in one place, enriched with AI and collaboration tools.
New capabilities deliver even more value
CONNECT’s evolving capabilities fall into five different categories:
- Connectivity eliminates integration delays and IT burdens with prebuilt functions that deploy in minutes. Native integrations from AVEVA™ PI System™, AVEVA™ Historian, AVEVA™ Manufacturing Execution System, and SCADA, along with standard protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, and OMF, ensure secure data sharing. Users will be able to collect from any source (edge, on-premises, and cloud), standardize data automatically, and analyze it in real-time.
- Data management & visualization unifies your industrial data into a single source of truth, unlocking its value and fostering greater collaboration with one shared view. Tailored data visualizations in a low-code environment help reveal complex relationships and trends, enabling teams to store, organize, enrich, and display contextualized data through role-based visuals. Teams can turn data into actionable insights quicker and reduce analysis fatigue with one intelligent platform.
- Collaboration includes powerful sharing capabilities that facilitate cooperation and trusted data exchange between both internal and external teams. By extending data boundaries with partners and stakeholders, teams are enabled to work from the same data, accelerating decisions and operational outcomes.
- AI & analytics transform streaming data into operational intelligence with little- to no-code machine learning, analytics, and calculation capabilities. This generative and agentic AI framework helps to analyze real-time and historical data and predict failures and deviations, optimizing performance and improving operational visibility.
- Applications consist of a rich ecosystem of native, hybrid, and partner integrations that leverage CONNECT’s capabilities. Users can get more value from their industrial data with ready-to-use domain applications and capabilities, and they can maximize their investments with market flexibility, which unlocks new industrial use cases.
Together, these five capability categories, combined with human expertise and AI workflows, equip users with all they need to generate data-driven insights and deliver industrial intelligence. New unified user interface
CONNECT is moving towards a unified user interface to deliver a more consistent, intuitive experience across the platform. By unifying operational, maintenance, quality, and engineering data across the enterprise, CONNECT empowers teams with one source of truth for easier and quicker action. This means clearer paths to key tasks, less time spent hunting for what you need, and more consistency in how you interact with information. The goal is simple: spend less effort managing information and more time applying it.
Introducing an industrial knowledge graph
CONNECT will feature an industrial knowledge graph designed to model the relationships between physical and virtual objects from a variety of data sources and data types. Tailored for industrial context, this graph structures your engineering and operations data into a contextual model of how your assets, processes, data, documents, and more, relate. Through these visual relationships, teams can arrive at solutions quicker and integrate AI and analytics applications more effectively—ultimately illuminating the “why” behind the data. The industrial knowledge graph will enable and enhance the optimize phase of the asset lifecycle, better aligning teams, improving traceability, and improving decision-making.
