Pandemic-year award is an honor without compare

CSIA Partner Member Award emphasizes our commitment to the SI community

Being appreciated with a prestigious award is a moment of pride. But to win recognition as Partner Member of the Year at the CSIA Awards during an unprecedented pandemic year is an honor without compare – for us at AVEVA and for every single one of our systems integrators.

AVEVA partners with the CSIA organization in order to build collaborative relationships with the CSIA and its members and to support their operations and events through sponsorships and promotion of CSIA certifications for the AVEVA SI community. CSIA provides an excellent platform for AVEVA SIs and our ecosystem partners to connect, collaborate and learn from each other. We are proud to be helping an influential non-profit organization in the support of its significant mission to advance the industry of control system integration while providing industries everywhere access to low-risk, safe and successful applications of automation technology.

CSIA helps members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry experiences, and advocates the benefits of hiring a certified control system integrator. The 5,000-strong AVEVA Partner Network works towards the same goals.

While we offer a certification path for SIs to demonstrate their product and project knowledge, we require CSIA certification for our top-level endorsed SI partners, preferring it to ISO 9001.

With our values so closely aligned, AVEVA recommends that our SI community get involved with the CSIA and obtain their industry-leading certification.

Proven SI ecosystem

Success in the digital era requires many new skills – but all of these must be supported by strong and reliable relationships. Together with the CSIA member SIs and our new AVEVA Select program, companies can harness the power of the AVEVA Partner Network to access innovative solutions and expertise to optimize their engineering, operations, and performance capabilities, capturing new value from their industrial operations.

To be clear, AVEVA doesn’t participate and sponsor CSIA for the recognition. We have always believed in its value to the SI community, the same community that we rely on to help create value and deliver solutions based on AVEVA software to our joint customers.

We are in a time of significant change as the manufacturing/ industrial sector undergoes disruptive digitalization, primarily led by Industry 4.0. In addition, events of the past year have challenged the business world in extraordinary ways.

Yet, even in these testing times, the strength of this ecosystem has been proven time and again, and AVEVA has been fortunate to have worked with CSIA members to unlock value for stakeholders at all levels.

Indeed, as Kerry Grimes, our Head of Global Partners, says of the CSIA members: “Your success is our success!” Put another way, this acknowledgement emphasizes our commitment to advancing the SI profession and to making CSIA a success.

AVEVA has been a longtime sponsor of CSIA through our heritage company Wonderware, and we will continue to support their contribution to their system integrator community as AVEVA software in the years to come.
