Oil & Gas Q&A Session - CRC: An Automated Recommender With Real-Time Analytics Using AF & PI Vision
California Resource Corporation has a vast asset infrastructure spread across the state of California, most with PI data enabled. Using the real time PI data archive, AF Analytics and PI Vision, we partnered with OSI Soft to build an automated recommendation system that identifies and ranks water injection wells experiencing performance declines. The system utilizes AFs ability to connect to external tables such as SQL server to perform data validations and apply additional filtering criteria as well as the AF analytics services to perform the final recommendations. The system also allows us to schedule the new recommendations and the method of notification. This project has allowed us to bring value by removing most of the manual tasks, increased transparency and consistency, improved return rates and increased overall volumes.
