The central role the PI System plays in a day-to-day wind farm operations management and analysis. As a Business Intelligence tool (real-time visuals, data analysis, notifications, forecasting and reporting) and monitoring OT health via PI MCN tools. Integration with complimentary systems, primarily CMMS (Maintenance Management System) and MS Power BI.

Alan McCarthy is the Central Generation Operations and Business Analytics Manager for Mainstream RP, one of the world's leading developers of renewable energy projects. His primary responsibilities are the development of Reporting and Analysis tools across the business, including the administration and development of the company's OSIsoft PI System and its CMMS system for the Operations and Maintenance phase. He has formerly held positions as the Asset Operations Manager for Ireland and Canada respectively.
