AI to improve efficiency and unplanned downtime at Schneider Electric
Schneider Electric s Lexington Smart Factory has been an innovation leader for several years, winning a number of awards along the way. Over the past 18 months, we ve partnered with AVEVA to leverage different types of AI to further improve our operational efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime. Two AVEVA AI solutions that we ve been using are Guided Analytics and Vision AI Assistant. Both have proven significant value with early detection of problems at welding stations and with the main drive chain, allowing the factory to take proactive action and avoid a complete factory shutdown on several occasions.
