Rail-vision signalling scalable remote condition monitoring solution - Atkins / CHG Electrical
This talk covers deployment of a PI System-based solution delivered by CHG through Atkins for a national passenger line in the UK. The solution delivers remote and on-sight maintenance workers with critical forensics (data collection, storage, analytics and visualisation and reporting of utilisation) for rail signalling trackside and control centre equipment and assets. Using Asset Framework, all rail trackside assets were categorised for standardised replication with visualization, utilising PI Vision allows the maintainer to see live and historical data, contextualised in scheme plan format. Equipment failure and SPAD investigation is provided to graphically replay signalling control and equipment data along with ad-hoc analysis to triage of complex problems in addition to Automatically analyse complex operation assets (like Points and Level Crossings) against standardised operational sequences and times.
