Dallas Water: Modernization of water pumping and distribution infrastructure
The City of Dallas is embarking on a comprehensive modernization of their water pumping and distribution infrastructure. This project will see their decade old system upgraded to a state-of-the-art integrated infrastructure including Enterprise SCADA, PI system, cybersecurity, and alarm & detection solutions. Learn more about the on-going developments, expected results, and how, leveraging real-time data from the field, the teams will be deploying dashboards and analysis tools on the latest generation of PI to enable data analysis and support process and energy consumption optimization.

Raul E Aranda is the President /Owner of Network Solvers Inc. Raul retired from Dallas Water Utilities in January of 2023 after 36 years of service. He started working for DWU as an electronic technician and ended his career as a senior SCADA Administrator. As lead Admin for Dallas, he was involved in multiple system wide upgrades from Mainframe SCADA systems to state of the art Quad Redundant SCADA systems, Pump Stations & Major sites new builds and upgrades, DHS Audits, DHS Tabletop Exercises, HIPAA & Soc 2 Audits. Raul loves music, football & other sports. Raul has been trained in multiple Aveva products and loves the challenges that new projects can bring. Currently Raul is working for his own company as a consultant for Municipalities as well as small to medium size business providing IT/SCADA solutions, support & management.
