Well Loading Analysis - Maximizing Production with AVEVA PI

We migrated to AVEVA PI last year, and used the system to create an analysis system to provide advance notice of well loading events - a common cause of well shut-ins and lost production. We are using PI Data Archive, PI Asset Frameork and PI Analysis Service to continuously process real-time calculations across ~1200 wells. These calculations provide advance notice of a well loading event occurring within the next 24 hours, so that operations can intervene. We are using Event Frame Notifications to notify operations personnel of the event, and also provide a PI Vision dashboard for them to monitor well loading events. If allowed unchecked, each event can cause >$100k in lost revenue per day per well. As a result of this well loading analysis system, we are able to avoid substantial lost revenue.
