White House Utility District

AVEVA™ PI System™ helps save millions of gallons and dollars

Tennessee-based White House Utility District (WHUD) faced increasing water demand from new customers, potentially requiring a US $15-20M capital expansion. WHUD used the AVEVA PI System to recover capacity by identifying and fixing leaks throughout the district, postponing major upgrades for years while providing water for new customers. With the PI System, WHUD recovered $900,000 in revenue and saved more than $1M each year in expenses.

“The number one rule about how to manage water is to be proactive. You need infrastructure out there in the field reporting in.”

Simon Wick, Vice President, Matchpoint Water Asset Management, now part of McKim & Creed
