Klinkmann's SMS Gateway GSM-Control Object is a software module dedicated to work as a gateway between wireless GSM environment and AVEVA System Platform. The software offers a low-cost and easy alternative for creating wireless control and monitoring applications for AVEVA System Platform. Main features include:

Bidirectional Data Transfer via SMS
The data exchange through GSM-Control Object can be initiated:
- When alarm or event occurs in System Platform, and this alarm or event is linked with some GSM-Control Object Alarm attribute, and
- From any SMS-capable remote device, by sending SMS message to GSM-Control Object. Sending from remote device can be initiated manually or automatically. Up to 10 values can be included in one SMS message, GSM-Control Object automatically will extract these values from received SMS message or will put these values in SMS message to be sent.
Fitting in AVEVA System Platform
SMS Gateway GSM-Control Object is developed by using the ArchestrA Object Toolkit and it very naturally fits in AVEVA System Platform environment, where it is installed, configured, deployed and running, allowing other AVEVA System Platform components to access to SMS data via GSM-Control Object attributes. As many as necessary Users, Alarm messages and Send/Receive message pairs can be easy configured, so enabling different kind of monitoring and control scenarios can be implemented.
