CereBulb’s winning Partner Games solution
Posted: Aug 6, 2025
The 2025 AVEVA Partner Games brought together talented teams from across the AVEVA Partner Ecosystem to develop solutions for some of the most pressing challenges facing industries today. The competition encouraged participants to harness the power of the CONNECT platform to create solutions that are not only technically sound but also innovative, drive sustainable outcomes, and are ready for real-world application.
Our finalists received free passes to attend AVEVA World San Francisco 2025, AVEVA’s flagship event. There, they presented their solutions to a panel of prestigious judges from across AVEVA in the final round of the competition.
Out of a highly competitive field, one team distinguished itself across every judging category. We're proud to announce CereBulb Water Warriors as the winning team and highlight its exceptional solution, which focuses on improving water quality and supply using an innovative data-driven approach.
Here’s a closer look at what sets them apart—and why its solution represents a compelling vision and model CONNECT use case.
Inside the winning solution
Across the world, places like Florida, USA, are confronting the challenge of aging water infrastructure, limited resources, and rising contamination risks. Water utilities suffer from non-revenue drinkable water losses, sometimes as high as 35%. These losses not only mean millions of liters of lost water but also millions of dollars of lost revenue.
Working with the “AVEVA City Water District,” CereBulb designed a data-driven solution to manage water loss and detect risks early.

Utilizing CONNECT data services, CONNECT Visualization, and water loss control program:
- Measure: collect important, quality water audit data, flows, loss locations, and economic impact, etc. much of which is coming from legacy systems
- Act: define and implement intervention action items using data
- Verify: document actions taken and monitor results, including the health of the critical systems, energy consumption and water losses.
With real-time data and visualization, regional utilities can identify issues immediately and coordinate a timely response.
To better identify the E. coli risk in the region, the solution also includes a new innovative IoT in-situ sensor called the Lume™ from Virridy, which gives real-time levels and trends of E. coli contamination.
With this water solution, government agencies and utilities can collaborate and share data, improving their ability to make effective decisions quickly, reduce potential leakages, and decrease the cost of operations. When utilities make faster decisions, not only do they end up increasing efficiency and thus revenue, but they also improve the water supply and quality for the community. Taking the CONNECT platform as its foundation, this dashboard enables an increased focus on the data and deeper and more extensive collaboration.
Looking ahead
CereBulb’s solution is just one example of the value that emerges when partners are empowered to experiment, collaborate, and innovate. As we look beyond the AVEVA Partner Games competition, we’re excited by the potential of this solution to evolve into a scalable, real-world offering that can help accelerate industrial intelligence.
By combining our platform’s capabilities with the domain expertise of our partners, we’re seeing fresh approaches to long-standing industry challenges, all grounded in sustainability, practicality, and impact.
We’re proud to support a partner community that’s not only thinking ahead but also building what’s next.
