Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Tuition for Instructor-led classes includes instruction, course materials*, computer time, continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. Other meals, transportation, lodging and all other expenses are the responsibility of the student.
Tuition for Virtual Instructor-led classes includes instruction, course materials* and computer time.
Tuition for Self-paced courses covers repeatable viewing and access to specific included materials for the specified amount of time (see individual course descriptions for details).
*All AVEVA Training materials are copyrighted by AVEVA or its suppliers and cannot be duplicated, reproduced or transmitted in any form without prior written permission by AVEVA.If a student cancels registration in an AVEVA face-to-face or Virtual instructor-led class, tuition charges are refundable ONLY if a cancellation notice is received by AVEVA Training at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day of class. If a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the first day of class but more than two (2) business days prior to the first day of class a service charge of 50 percent of the tuition will be assessed. Those failing to give at least two (2) business days’ notice will be liable for the full tuition.
Self-paced course tuition charge refund is only valid until the user receives access to the course.
AVEVA requires a minimum of 3 course participants to hold a class. AVEVA reserves the right to hold or cancel classes at its discretion. In the case of AVEVA cancelling a class, all tuition fees will be refunded.Registration for AVEVA classes is completed via the “Register Now” link in the training registration site.
Payment for classes can be made by credit card at time of registration, or via Purchase Order (PO) either through your company purchasing agent, or through your local distributor, or through the agent acting as the local distributor if applicable. Yes, we offer on-site customer training programs at or nearby your organization's facility. On-site training allows us to customize the training discussions and time frames to meet the specific needs of your company.
AVEVA provides the training materials and a virtual environment with all necessary software to conduct the training class. The customer will supply the classroom and student computers to access the virtual environment. Contact AVEVA Training for a tuition and fees estimate for your company's particular on-site training needs.
Classes generally start between 8:00-9:00am and end between 4:00-5:00pm in local time. Check the specific course confirmation for exact times. Typically, an hour break is taken for lunch and there are both morning and afternoon breaks.
