AVEVA is partnering with IMD, one of the world’s leading business schools, on a ground-breaking program of research highlighting the power of business ecosystems to drive growth, productivity and decarbonization.
Drawing on original research with industrial leaders from around the world, the partnership will provide insights into how industrial intelligence is enabling businesses to collaborate more effectively across the value chain to elevate performance.
Our flagship annual publication, the Industrial Intelligence Report, is a deep dive into how leading organizations are harnessing digital insights to power new and smarter ways of working. The report is planned for publication in May 2026.

What is industrial intelligence?
At AVEVA and IMD, we define Industrial Intelligence as the dynamic integration of data-driven insights, enhanced with industrial AI and human expertise, to solve complex challenges faster, within and even between organizations, and envision valuable new potential.
What are business ecosystems?
Business ecosystems are networks of interdependent stakeholders—suppliers, distributors, partners, customers and regulators—who collaborate to create new, mutual value through shared infrastructure, information and insights.
These teams commit to mobilizing and enabling resources dynamically across their organizations. Together, they tackle complex, higher-order business problems and develop opportunities that could not be effectively achieved by any one participant alone.
