Ashghal: Sunsetting traditional ITS SCADA in favor of AVEVA
Due to obscure Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) protocols and integrations, the traffic industry has traditionally relied on traffic system manufacturers for ITS visualization and SCADA. Ashghal knew that this meant it was missing out on some of the advantages of AVEVA System Platform: rich industrial graphics, good situational awareness schemes, playback and more. To remove these barriers, the company established an investment plan to develop custom drivers and integrations. He is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and development of ITS works for all tunnels and roads across the country. Previously he has served in the Supreme Committee to make key decisions related to the roads infrastructure

Omer Bin Abdul Aziz
Omer is currently looking after the digital transformation dimension for OT customers. He works closely with end users to help them understand how their problems can be solved in a better and quicker way using advanced digital technologies such as cloud based solutions, machine learning and IT/OT integrations. He is a certified project management professional, a chartered Engineer and TUV certified FSEng. Omer is particularly interested in OT CS and is a certified IEC62443 fundamentals specialist. He actively takes part in ISA standards building and is a member of ISA 112 SCADA standard committee.
