AVEVA Unified Engineering Integrating design/build with operations/optimization for Power & Utilities
This presentation will show how the technology and capabilities of AVEVA products, E3D, AIM (Asset Information Management) and PCM (Point Cloud Manager, laser-scan solution) can bring the benefits to power & utilities. With the integration with the PI Data Infrastructure, which is operations and optimization centric mostly, AVEVA Unified Engineering will add design & build phases to achieve the Digital Twin platform. It is an open and system agnostic solution to visualize and contextualize information across the organization, including drawings, maps, laser-scans and other enterprise systems like GIS, SAP and any 3rd party Electronic Document Management Systems. The speaker will share some examples and values of the Engineering product suites (reducing the design time from weeks/months to hours/days) which can apply to power plants, renewable energy, utility T&D substations and microgrids, etc.

Previously, Ann was the Business Development Executive, Director, Industry and Market Principals then Director Regional Development for Greater China and India at OSIsoft (now part of AVEVA). Prior to joining OSIsoft, Ann worked for SDG&E for extensive years. Ann holds a master s degree in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Michigan.
