Synchronizing Marine Design and Production
AVEVA Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) is designed to work in synchronisation with Unified Engineering (UE) as a data-centric continuum from design to production. At the core of this approach is an embedded shipbuilding data model, managed through a scalable, tag-based structure that connects design, BOM, and production information in real time. By unifying engineering disciplines and linking them directly to lifecycle processes, our solution ensures that design intent is consistently carried through to production and beyond. Detailed design and assembly planning are enhanced through close collaboration between engineers, designers and production teams. We will explore how UE and ALM together enable faster design iteration, improve BOM consistency, and greater traceability across the vessel lifecycle.
