New combined portfolio enables global growth

AVEVA, a global leader in engineering and industrial software, today marked the start of its 2018 World Summit by announcing three major customer deals, across a range of industries. This follows on from the successful merger of AVEVA with Schneider Electric’s industrial software business in March of this year, creating a global leader in industrial digital transformation.
The new contracts with MV WERFTEN, a major shipbuilder, Schneider Electric, a leader in energy management and automation, and Anglian Water, a UK water utility, demonstrate AVEVA’s ability to drive digital transformation across a wide variety of industries.

MV WERFTEN has renewed its commitment to AVEVA with an agreement to use a greater range of software from the AVEVA portfolio to design and construct cruise ships. Schneider Electric has embraced AVEVA’s software solutions to drive its Smart Factory initiative, as part of the company’s digital transformation journey. Anglian Water, a utility operator serving six million customers in England, has implemented an AVEVA smart water solution that will accelerate the detection of water leaks, helping to preserve their most valuable asset.
