AVEVA at World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2023

AVEVA attends 2023 WEF annual meeting in Davos: Cooperation in a Fragmented World.

AVEVA promotes constructive dialogue in support of a sustainable industrial transformation

Addressing an urgent need

According to the IPCC’s latest report, the world must cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 43% by 2030 to avert climate catastrophe. While COP27 saw demonstrable progress, there remains much to be accomplished to limit warming to 1.5 C, as outlined in The Paris Agreement.

Coming together for change

Leaders from around the globe will come together in Davos, Switzerland from January 16th to 20th. The conference, entitled Cooperation in a Fragmented World, is focused on public-private sector collaboration to drive tangible, long-term change.

Collaborating on solutions

At AVEVA, we're committed to impactful climate action. We are attending the WEF Annual Meeting 2023 to collaborate and share our insights on how digital technologies can contribute to a just and equitable energy transition, and make a net-zero future a reality.

Harnessing innovation in manufacturing transformation

The World Economic Forum (WEF) established its Global Lighthouse Network to accelerate the adoption of advanced 4IR technologies in manufacturing.

AVEVA helped Schneider Electric digitize plant-wide operations at its 62-year-old factory in Lexington Kentucky. The brownfield site is now one of the group’s leading smart factory showcases, receiving WEF Lighthouse recognition for excellence in supply chain innovation

Partnering to build more resilient, sustainable cities

Resilience is a key theme at Davos 2023. Learn more about how we help create smarter, more sustainable cities.

Pimpiri Chinchwad Smart City (PCMC) in Pune, India used AVEVA™ Unified Operations Center to create a data-driven approach to service delivery. As a result, PCMC reduced pollution and traffic congestion, cut water losses, and expects to reduce energy use by up to 22%.

Davos Smart Cities

Why developing nations are defining the smart cities of the future

High-tech, climate-positive infrastructure will be key to sustainable outcomes in developing countries that will drive urbanization in the coming decades.

Connected future

Our connected future: How industrial data sharing can unite a fragmented world

At AVEVA, we believe we're seeing the development what we call the connected industrial economy - communities that share data across value chains to increase value and accelerate growth for everyone. This kind of collaboration breaks down siloed thinking and can drive significant sustainability gains.

At AVEVA, we believe in aiming high

We were one of the first 50 companies in the world to have our net-zero commitments validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
